The Bristol Corn & Feed Trade Association (BCFTA), which this year marks the 125th anniversary of its founding in 1885, has a new senior officer team.
The Association’s annual general meeting at the Royal Bath & West Show recently elected Charles Delf of ForFarmers as BCFTA president, succeeding outgoing president Simon Prior of CS Commodity Solutions after his year in office. Mark Cox of Micron Bio-Systems was elected as vice-president.
The 125th anniversary was marked by a celebratory lunch at the Show, featuring 16 past presidents stretching back as far as 1977.
BCFTA secretary Richard Cooksley says the active trade association has a growing membership with members from across the whole UK. Its major activities are training and the promotion of Association members within the supply trade.
