The Dalmark Group has appointed Charlotte Richmond as managing director of Dalmark Grain from March 1st. She succeeds John Martin who has taken up a new role at Fengrain.
Ms Richmond started her career with Paul Towns and Wells Agriculture before moving to Dalmark Grain as a grain trader in 2010. Her success in expanding the company’s business into the East Midlands saw her promotion to trading director in 2013.
“During her directorship, Charlotte has been instrumental in the management and development of the Dalmark Grain business, not only contributing through intelligent and profitable trading but by increasing our farm portfolio by 20%,” notes Peter Fox, managing director of Dalton Seeds.
“Charlotte has earned the respect of the board and the industry for her commitment to honest and ethical business, her in-depth knowledge and experience of the grain merchanting business and through her motivation to adapt to the constantly changing face of agriculture.”
