Trouw Nutrition GB, part of the multinational Nutreco animal nutrition business, has strengthened its poultry team with two new members of staff.
Anthony Taylor is the new monogastric business manager. Mr Taylor’s career includes five years in broiler production and seven in feed sales. He has worked for Cobb Europe and most recently pullet and poultry equipment supplier Potters Poultry. Commenting on his new position, Mr Taylor says: “I am delighted to join Trouw Nutrition and my main focus will be to coordinate our commercial activities within the monogastric sector. While this role will complement our technical team of John Ward and Aidan Leek, we will be looking to expand our commercial offering.
“Our broad customer base in Great Britain benefits from Trouw Nutrition's knowledge and experience in providing innovative nutritional products and technically advanced solutions that meet the increasing demands of the modern animal nutrition market.”
Trouw has also appointed Dr Aidan Leek as poultry technical manager. Dr Leek joins from Hy-Line International, where he was responsible for international nutrition and technical support. He has previously worked as a nutritionist in the domestic and international premix sector and as a feedmill technical manager/nutritionist for Cargill Meats Europe. Dr Leek is a Nuffield scholar, and is a member of the nutrition working group on the European branch of the World Poultry Science Association.
