Global feed additive manufacturer Kemin Industries has officially opened a new worldwide headquarters in its home town of Des Moines in the US state of Iowa. The ceremony was performed by Iowa governor Kim Reynolds.
It says the $30 million new building completes a five-year, $125.5m investment in the company’s Des Moines facilities. The 94,000 square foot headquarters, which features work spaces, laboratories, collaboration areas and a fitness center, has housed more than 500 employees since
“The new headquarters is more than a building - it’s an investment in providing the resources our team members need to move forward our company vision of improving the quality of life by touching half of the people of the world every day with our products and services,” commented Kemin president and chief executive Dr Chris Nelson. “By unifying our employees in one location, innovation and collaboration will increase and we now have a place to welcome our entire global team.”
